Exploring the Hype: A Review of the Dunk Low Panda

The panda dunks were the first shoes I added to my collection, which I bought for a retail price of $100. These were bought from the first restock batch, as the original batch was released on March 10th, 2021.

The hype for these shoes is very real and understandable, as they go with almost anything you wear, as they have a clean look and basic colors with just black and white. This simplicity is what drove the market price almost $200 up from the original retail value, but luckily, this value might be peaking. There have been large rumors that Nike is planning to restock these shoes more ofter, as much as once a month! This will bring the value back down to something affordable for all consumers wanting a simple shoe.

I would love to add different color laces to match the colors of the clothes I wear, I think this would enhance the look and style of the shoes. A light color that isn't aggressive, like cream or a light pink can enhance lots of outfits that are made with these shoes.

Overall, they have a clean silhouette, but I do not think I will keep them for much longer. I already have a pair of shoes I wear with everything, which are some old Jordan 11s that I have, and with their simple look, I won't need these. I am looking at a resell price of around $270 at the current moment.
